Work experience award open for entries

Small firms offering rewarding work experience to students are being invited to compete for a national award. The National Council for Work Experience (NCWE) Awards recognise businesses that provide undergraduates with structured work placements to help students develop the skills that make them employable. Two of the eleven award categories are aimed specifically at small and medium–sized enterprises – one is for firms with fewer than ten employees and one for firms with between ten and 250 employees. Small firms will also be eligible to enter the award for businesses which have started placement schemes within the last two years or which take on international students.
