Rural Entrepreneurs get Chance to Win £10,000 Prize

Entrepreneurs whose businesses benefit the countryside are being offered the chance to win £10,000, in a nationwide competition. The Young Rural Entrepreneur of the Year award, run by The Field magazine and financial services firm Lycetts, is open to entrants under the age of 35 who run a successful business that benefits the countryside. Businesses do not have to be located in rural areas to apply for the awards. For example, applicants might have set up a farm shop in a city centre bringing in local produce from the surrounding countryside.
