UKTI Tradeshow Access Programme

Grant helps firms exhibit overseas

UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) is doubling the number of grants available to small businesses that want to exhibit at overseas trade shows. At present, the UKTI Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP) enables small businesses to apply for three grants during their firm’s lifetime to help them attend overseas trade fairs. But from April 2009, firms can apply for an additional three grants, provided they visit trade shows in more than one country and only apply for one grant per financial year. Grants of £1,000, £1,400 and £1,800 are available to help cover the costs of exhibiting at 400 eligible tradeshows worldwide. Firms can apply for the grants by contacting their regional UKTI International Trade Team or via their industry’s accredited trade organisation. Minister... »
