Northwest Ethnic Minority business awards open for entries

Black and minority ethnic (BME) entrepreneurs from north west England can compete to have their achievements recognised in a new competition launched by Ethnic Minority Business Forum North West. The Northwest Ethnic Minority Business Awards will recognise the contribution made by BME individuals to the regional economy. The organisers also hope to inspire more members of BME communities to start their own businesses. The award categories include: the Rising Star award, Best Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Achievement in International Business, Social Enterprise of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, and Northwest Business of the Year.
