Businesswomen Compete for Mentoring

Businesswomen in London are being offered the chance to receive support from high–profile female entrepreneurs by applying to the Mentor Competition. The competition, organised by FreshIdeas Events, is open to women who run their own business, are thinking of starting a business or who are employees that need help climbing the corporate ladder. Applicants are required to detail their current position, their idea, the progress they would expect to make in six months with a mentor and whether they are willing to record their experiences in a blog. The ten most promising women will be selected and paired with mentors, including Kerrie Keeling, managing director of A Woman’s Touch and 2006 winner of NatWest Business Woman of the Year, and Karen Darby, founder of SimplySwitch. &ldqu... »
