Jubilee Fever Spreads to the Workplace

Businesses across the UK were struck down with a less patriotic ‘Jubilee fever’ today (Wednesday 6 June), as a flurry of staff called in sick following the four-day celebration. All over the country, bosses have been faced with unplanned absences from staff as they sought to extend their long weekend with an extra day off work.
