London Small Businesses Tender Support for City Bids

London-based small firms can apply for free advice on tendering for City contracts, following the extension of a support programme by the City of London Corporation. The Ready to Supply the City scheme launched in 2009, but additional funding has now been granted to help get 300 more small firms “tender-ready”. Those that are accepted for the scheme will receive one-to-one business advice and mentoring, access to half-day workshops, and information on the procurement needs of City firms. SMEs offered help winning City of London contracts

The initiatives are aimed at small firms in the London boroughs surrounding the City, including Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Camden, Islington, Lambeth, Southwark and Westminster.
