Showing accreditations from bodies such as the National Energy Foundation (NEF) will help to attract tenants who wish to promote and build upon their green policies. Undergoing an energy assessment and implementing the recommended changes will also make your advertisement a lot more attractive.

Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) must be provided to prospective clients at the earliest opportunity. The certificate will last for ten years and can be reused indefinitely within that period. However, updating the EPC must be done at the landlord’s expense.
