Search is on for Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Outstanding young small-business owners are being called on to enter the Shell LiveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards for the chance to win a £10,000 cash prize.
This year, the monthly rounds of the Shell LiveWIRE Grand Ideas Awards have been integrated into the annual round of the Shell LiveWIRE Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
Entrants must be between 16 and 30 and in their first year of trading. The six best entrants per month will receive £1,000 each under the Grand Ideas awards until the end of August.
At the end of this period, the top 40 start-ups from the Grand Ideas competition will be assessed by a panel of judges and one overall winner will receive a £10,000 cash prize and the title of Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

said minister for business and enterprise, Mark Prisk.
“We need to bring out the enterprising spirit in everyone across the country ? that’s why I am delighted to support the awards.”
