Young Entrepreneurs: Win £15,000 Funding
Innovative young entrepreneurs with online business ideas have the chance to win investment and support worth more than £15,000, following the launch of the DediPower Digital Awards.
Two awards are available from the web hosting firm DediPower; the DediPower UK Young Digital Entrepreneur Award for 17 to 24 year-olds and the DediPower UK Digital Innovation Award for 25 to 30 year-olds.
Winners will each receive £2,000 in development funds, £12,500 investment, a year of website hosting and business mentoring from DediPower’s UK chief executive officer Chris Miller, as well as financial mentoring from Lloyds TSB.
Interested entrepreneurs should visit the DediPower awards website and will be asked to submit a business plan. This must include a general company description, target audience, company strengths, information on what value it will add, details of competitors, finances and projections, marketing and expansion plans.
“We are looking to find the young entrepreneurs with Britain’s best new internet-based business ideas and reward their innovative spirit.”
said DediPower co-founder, Craig Martin.
“If you are young and have an idea, it is hard to know how to exploit your talent, or how to get the right advice.”
“DediPower wishes to provide stimulation, excellent advice and business mentoring to Britain’s young entrepreneurs.”
The deadline for entries is 28th February.
