Enter the Growing Business Awards 2010
Businesses with the potential to become industry-leaders have until 17th September to enter the prestigious Growing Business Awards.
Organised by the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), the awards reward firms demonstrating excellence in any of ten categories that include innovation, environmental impact and customer service. Those interested in entering the specialist Stelios Award for Disabled Entrepreneurs should note the earlier deadline of 3rd September for applications.
Each award winner will receive national media coverage and have the right to display the name of their award on their marketing material and stationery.
The awards are open to independently owned UK businesses with 0-500 employees. Shortlisted firms will be interviewed by a judging panel that includes Lovefilm chief executive Simon Calver and Dragons’ Den investor James Caan.
“As well as receiving endorsement from the CBI, award winners can expect huge national media coverage, too — the BBC, Sky News and CNBC usually cover the winners,”
said Kate Pritchard, manager of Real Business magazine, which jointly organises the awards.
“You’ll also join an exclusive community of Britain’s most respected independent businesses.”
“Competition for winning the awards is fierce, so the judges are looking for truly outstanding businesses that are changing or challenging their industry. They’re looking for enterprising people who have the potential to become significant players in the future.”
