James Caan Launches Nectar Business Small Business Awards 2010
The search is on to find the UK’s ultimate business success stories with the launch of the Nectar Business Small Business Awards 2010. Now in its second year, the awards recognise the achievements of exceptional small and medium sized expertises (SMEs) who will win £2,000 cash, £2,000 to spend at Viking Direct and 50,000 Nectar points. Four winning small businesses will be chosen by an esteemed judging panel, which includes star of the hit BBC TV show Dragon’s Den, James Caan.
Open until 31 st May 2010 , the awards acknowledge best practice, celebrate great ideas and outstanding achievements in business, particularly in tough times. All UK SMEs, social enterprises and entrepreneurs that can demonstrate innovation and brilliant business ideas can enter in any one of the following four categories:
- Small Business of the Year
- Entrepreneur of the Year
- Contribution to the Community Award
- Online Business of the Year
As well as James Caan, the judging panel also includes Guy Clapperton, small business journalist, Charlie Humphreys, Client Development Director at Nectar and John-O’Keeffe, Merchandising and Marketing Director UK and Ireland at Viking Direct.
Winners will receive not only the recognition they deserve for all their hard work, but free media publicity, £2,000 cash, £2,000 to spend at Viking Direct and 50,000 Nectar points to reward themselves or their business.
