Roadshows help improve tender chances
A series of roadshows run by Supply2.gov.uk will offer SMEs tips and advice on securing public sector contracts.
The ‘Tendering for Success’ roadshows are aimed specifically at SMEs and will provide advice on what firms need to look out for in tender documentation. They will also offer guidance on the areas of evaluation that are critical to tendering success.
Each roadshow will feature a guest speaker who will offer advice on how SMEs can develop their business with the public sector. Attendees will also learn how to improve their tender submissions in order to make them stand out and receive hints and tips on presenting.
Confirmed speakers for the events include the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency’s head of supply chain, David Griffiths, and Supply2.gov.uk’s interoperability manager Philip Adams.
Roadshow events are being held at the following venues:
- 03 November – Teacher Building, Glasgow

- 27 November – Hilton, Leeds
- 05 December – BERR Conference Centre, London.
The roadshows cost £120 + VAT for the principle delegate and £95 + VAT for additional delegates.
