Entrepreneurs pitch for Development Grant
Budding entrepreneurs and business owners looking to expand their firm have been invited to pitch for a £10,000 grant from BT.
Judges allocating the funding will be looking for someone with an innovative business idea, who can also demonstrate the qualities needed to succeed as an entrepreneur.
Established businesses looking for a cash boost to launch a new product or service or expand into a new market, can also apply for the funding. BT Business managing director Bill Murphy said:
“Initiatives such as Small Business Week show us that there is so much entrepreneurial talent out there — we want to help one of our future success stories get off to a great start,”
To be in with a chance of winning, entrepreneurs need to submit a written explanation of the plans for their business, along with details on how they would spend the money.
As well as the £10,000 cash prize, the winning business will receive a free audit of their information technology and communications systems. The deadline to apply for the funding is 31 December.
