Small Business Week 2008 – Launch
Small Business Week, the annual event that helps to raise the profile of Britain’s 4.6 million small businesses, kicked off this morning from the BT Tower in London.
At this breakfast event keynote speakers revealed the findings of UK business confidence analysis, with experts giving their views on the state of the UK small business nation.
Speaking to his audience at the BT Tower, Adam Shaw of The Working Lunch, presented findings from the newly released State of the Small Business Nation report.
Other speakers included Mark Prisk MP, the Shadow Minister for Small Business and Bill Murphy, Managing Director of BT Business.
The panel discussion panel followed with Bill Murphy again, David Frost, from the British Chambers of Commerce, Maxine Benson of Everywoman, Wyn Mears of the ACCA and Peter Jones, Entrepreneur and judge of the BBC’s popular Dragon’s Den who has a potentially controversial opinion on the economy (see 35 minutes into the broadcast).
