Award for Business Excellence
The 2008 Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are now looking for entries from UK Small Business. To be eligible your business needs to have two or more staff and be based in the UK.
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are renowned for indicating significant achievement in business excellence but are also a valuable business tool, giving recognition, a sense of achievement, openings to potential new markets, new suppliers and new investors. Winning businesses add commercial value, gain free national press coverage and can continue using their award to promote their business for five years.
The three categories for this year’s business Awards are:
- International Trade
- Sustainable Development

The closing date for entries is 31st October 2007.
There is also the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion (QAEP) to celebrate and recognise the business activities of individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding & significant role in promoting enterprise skills and attitudes.
